Key member of the investment team who will support in all aspects of the investment process including origination, due diligence, transaction structuring and post-acquisition portfolio management.
Primarily responsible for screening investment opportunities and extensive financial modeling including sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential opportunities and provide preliminary investment review based on financial and strategic considerations.
Coordinate commercial, financial and legal due diligence sessions including preparation of materials in conjunction with external consultants.
Manage the documentation process including drafting investment committee memoranda and recommendations.
Support the investment team with portfolio monitoring and management including preparation of value creation plans, directing strategic initiatives, and reviewing monthly and quarterly financial and operational performance.
Assist the investment team in working with co-investors and joint venture partners to drive growth and create value in portfolio companies.
Contribute to the investment origination process in addition to curating new investment themes.
Requirements:
Bachelor or Masters degree in accounting, finance, business administration or economics; CFA is a plus
3-5 years of transaction experience on the sell-side or buy-side in investment banking or private equity
Strong communication and presentation skills
Attention to detail and strong organization skills
Strong knowledge of markets, financial statements analysis, corporate finance and valuation techniques
Initiative, strong work ethic and high level of professional maturity are prerequisites.
