The CFO will join a fast-growing, mature-stage IT startup with an established product and active operations. This role is critical in building and developing the finance function, supporting scalable growth, and preparing the company for the next strategic phase, including potential M&A and investor engagement. The CFO will work closely with the CEO as a hands-on strategic partner.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, structure, and lead the finance function in a lean, high-growth environment
Establish financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting from the ground up
Ensure high-quality accounting, tax, cash flow management, and financial discipline
Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and business analysis
Lead and support M&A initiatives: financial analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, and integration
Implement internal controls, financial policies, and scalable financial processes
Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and shareholders
Key Requirements:
Senior finance leadership experience in IT, technology, or closely related industries
Proven track record of building and scaling a finance function in startups or growth-stage companies
Hands-on experience with M&A transactions
Background in Big4 (audit, transaction services, or advisory) is a strong advantage
Strong analytical mindset combined with operational pragmatism
Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a small-team environment
