We are looking for an analyst to join the Value Creation Team of a private equity fund in Moscow. The role combines deal assessment with hands-on support of portfolio companies, offering exposure to both investment processes and operational value creation.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the assessment of potential investment opportunities: market research (retail, consumer), business model and competitive landscape analysis, validation of growth hypotheses
  • Prepare financial models, calculations, and presentation materials for internal discussions
  • Support portfolio companies: analyze key operational and financial metrics, identify performance drivers, and develop ideas to improve efficiency and unlock growth opportunities
  • Leverage benchmarks, internal data, and expert consultations to generate insights and recommendations

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, analytics, or corporate strategy
  • Ability to quickly dive into new industries and structure complex problems
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Python
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance and familiarity with consumer & retail markets
  • Nice to have: Experience in transformation or operational efficiency projects
