Our client is a highly regarded investment firm, distinguished by its advisory-led approach to wealth management, deep research capabilities, and a strong emphasis on capital preservation. The firm delivers bespoke solutions to a select group of HNW and UHNW clients, supported by a global expert network and an integrated platform across investments, structuring, and advisory. We are seeking an accomplished Senior Private Banker to join the team and play a pivotal role in further expanding its UHNW client franchise.
This is a senior, client-facing position focused on originating, developing, and stewarding long-term relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, deeply embedded in the client’s financial ecosystem, delivering holistic and highly customized wealth solutions across investments, structuring, and legacy planning. A critical component of this role is the ability to bring and transition a portable book of UHNW client relationships, while continuing to grow and deepen these relationships over time.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop, transition, and actively manage a portfolio of UHNW client relationships, with a strong focus on long-term trust and retention • Serve as a primary advisor and, where relevant, a quasi–family office partner to clients and their advisors • Conduct comprehensive wealth diagnostics, including analysis of complex asset structures (operating businesses, real estate, alternative investments, etc.) • Design and implement tailored investment strategies aligned with client objectives, risk profiles, and global market dynamics • Coordinate closely with internal and external experts (legal, tax, structuring) to deliver integrated wealth planning solutions, including cross-border considerations • Drive client engagement through high-quality communication, including investment proposals, portfolio reviews, and market insights • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and increase share of wallet through thoughtful, needs-based advisory
Candidate Profile: • 7–10+ years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or a related UHNW advisory environment • Demonstrated ability to originate and manage UHNW client relationships, including a portable and transferable client book (strongly preferred / essential) • Proven track record of revenue generation and client asset growth • Deep expertise across capital markets, structured products, private equity, and real assets • Solid understanding of cross-border wealth structuring, including tax, trusts, and estate planning concepts • Strong commercial judgment combined with a highly client-centric mindset • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly at C-level and family principal level • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and ethical integrity • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage • Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; CFA, CAIA, CFP or equivalent certifications are highly valued
