Conduct macroeconomic research for the investment goals (worldwide, regional)
Analysing macro/fundamental drivers of the global economies with focus on private equity / venture capital industry by performing in-depth analysis
Research, analyse, evaluate, and develop macroeconomic data and tools in support of total fund portfolio position, liquidity, and leverage
Build and update macroeconomic and strategy models and macro-thematic paper portfolios
Research, prepare and create reports and presentations for internal and/or external meetings
Participate on firm-wide investment committees and projects
Communicate research progress and results on a regular basis
Main requirements:
A Masters/PhD or equivalent, preferably in Economics/Finance. CFA, ACCA is a plus
Strong quantitative skills with proven aptitude to analyse macro data and develop suitable models
Strong knowledge of regional political, economic, business, venture capital trends and prospects.
At least 6-8 years of relevant experience within a Research role on sell-side or buy-side
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional analytical, and technical skills
Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision required
