Vice President / Venture Capital Fund Abu Dhabi, UAE

Our client, a leading global investment fund, is seeking to add a talented and motivated VC Professional to their Venture Capital investment team with a focus on international projects across sectors.

Main responsibilities:
  • Lead of VC transactions (buy- / sell-side): sourcing, negotiations, due diligence, documentation, and deal structuring
  • Post-acquisition portfolio management (strategy development, capital raises, and M&A)
  • Working with co-investors and joint venture partners to drive growth and create value in portfolio companies
  • Management work of junior team members
  • Reporting to the Head of Venture Capital

Main requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or economics; MBA, CFA is a plus, but not required
  • 8+ years of related investment experience, with at least 5 years with strong transaction experience gained within a venture capital or growth equity fund
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to take responsibility and demonstrate proactive approach
  • Results driven, team player with a strong work ethic
