Head of Legal – Family Office

We are looking for a lawyer for the position of Head of Legal for a Family Office. The candidate must have a higher legal education and at least 10 years of experience in law firms or family offices. Deep knowledge of civil, corporate, and tax law is required, as well as experience in real estate and inheritance matters. Proficiency in English is essential, along with a high level of confidentiality, a proactive approach, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include providing legal support for operations, managing asset transactions, overseeing construction project aspects, and estate planning.
Responsibilities:
-Provide comprehensive legal support for the operations of the Family Office and its affiliated entities, including corporate structuring, amendments, and interactions with regulatory authorities.
-Manage transactions involving family assets: real estate (acquisitions, disposals, due diligence), and movable property (vehicles, art, collectibles).
-Oversee legal aspects of construction projects: review of documentation, contractor relations, dispute resolution.
-Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including service, supply, and non-disclosure agreements.
-Support estate and succession planning: wills, trusts, asset protection, and representation in legal proceedings if needed.
-Liaise with governmental bodies, financial institutions, and foreign legal advisors on behalf of the family.
-Monitor legislative developments and assess their potential impact on the family's assets and interests.
Requirements:
-Law degree and a minimum of 10 years of legal experience in law firms or family office environments.
-Strong expertise in civil, corporate, and tax law, with a proven track record in real estate and inheritance matters.
-Fluent English, both written and spoken.
High level of discretion, proactive mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
