We are seeking a highly experienced Director to join a leading private equity firm based in Moscow. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating and executing investment projects, as well as managing portfolio companies. This role requires a proven track record in deal-making, successful investment exits, and significant experience in bulge bracket banks or funds. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of industry experience, with a strong focus on the technology sector.
Responsibilities:
- Origination and Execution: Identify and initiate investment opportunities, leading all aspects of deal execution, including due diligence, structuring, and negotiations.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage portfolio companies to drive value creation and ensure successful outcomes.
- Strategy Development: Contribute to the strategic direction of the firm by leveraging deep industry insights and market knowledge.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, industry partners, and executives of portfolio companies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of investments, providing strategic guidance to ensure optimal returns.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in bulge bracket banks or leading private equity funds, with a demonstrated history of successful deal origination, execution, and investment exits.
- Sector Focus: Generalist with a broad understanding of various industries, particularly within the technology sector.
- Track Record: Strong record of successful investments and value creation.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, strategic, and financial skills, with the capability to manage complex transactions and drive business growth.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Education: Advanced degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred. A degree from a top 10 MBA school is highly advantageous.
- Location: Moscow, with the ability to travel as needed.
