Responsibilities:
· Identifying and sourcing investment opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events
· Conducting due diligence on potential investments, including market analysis, financial modelling, and competitive analysis
· Supporting the investment decision-making process by preparing investment memos and presentations
· Supporting portfolio companies by providing guidance, resources, and connections
· Building and maintaining relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other stakeholders
· Keeping abreast of industry trends, news and developments to inform investment decisions
Requirements:
· Bachelor or Masters degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or a related field; CFA is a plus
· 2+ years of relevant work experience within VC (early-stage) in Middle East, Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh
· Strong knowledge of markets, financial statements analysis, corporate finance and valuation techniques
· Fluent in English
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Attention to detail and strong organization skills
· Initiative, strong work ethic and high level of professional maturity are prerequisites
