Develop a comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem in order to identify inorganic growth opportunities for search, advertising, ride-hailing, food tech, ridesharing, classifieds, media, e-commerce and other key services;
Act as a lead manager on M&A transaction executions with cross-functional project teams;
Present to senior executives on M&A and other strategic initiatives;
Understand international and Russian technology industry trends and competitive landscape;
Build and review complex financial models and presentations;
Lead the strategic assessment, valuation and transaction structuring;
Perform extensive business due diligence;
Coordinate technical, financial, tax, legal and HR due diligence processes;
Lead transaction documentation drafting;
Negotiate key transaction documents with legal advisors and counterparties;
Support post-completion integration;
Train and mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
7 or more years of relevant experience with investment banking, corporate development, private equity or venture capital firms;
Significant M&A buy-side and sell-side experience, including transaction negotiation, execution and integration;
Strong analytical, research and communication skills;
Transaction experience in or exposure to the technology sector (would be a significant advantage);
Ability to balance multiple tasks and commit to responsibilities;
Team player, positive attitude, highly motivated;
Language skills: fluent spoken and written English.
