VC Senior /Analyst Venture Capital Fund/UAE

Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day analysis of current or potential new VC deals
• Primarily responsible for screening investment opportunities and extensive financial modeling including sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential opportunities and provide preliminary investment review based on financial and strategic considerations
• Perform the first review of a large number of incoming leads, identifying the most promising founders
• Contribute to the sourcing of new investment opportunities
• Contribute to idea generation for the growth & scaling of portfolio businesses
• Participation in commercial, financial and legal due diligence sessions including preparation of materials in conjunction with external consultants
• Preparation of presentation materials (executive summaries, teasers, etc.)
• Support the senior investment team with portfolio monitoring and management
Requirements:
• Bachelor or Masters degree in finance, economics, accounting or business administration; CFA is a plus.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience within VC (early-stage) in the UK, USA, Israel
• Excellent quantitative skills and financial modelling skills such as valuation, merger models, portfolio metrics, etc.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic will be an advantage
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills
• Initiative, strong work ethic and high level of professional maturity are prerequisites
